Mojo app allows users to create incredible Reels, TikTok videos, Stories, and social media. It has over 700 unique animated templates, hundreds of text styles, dozens of editing tools, AI tools, and so much more.
As Mojo’s Head of Design, I created the internal design studio, sourced the talents and created the entire production workflow. The team was composed of 3 designers & animators, a product manager and 3 developers. I also designed and animated the templates showcased in this case study.
iPhone interface video templates were performing well with our users.
We explored a panel of concepts ranging from the music player, and the audio volume, to the Do Not Disturb mode to create a narrative around the user’s life.
As AI image generation became scalable, we shifted our focus toward creating art-inspired AI-generated templates.
I developed numerous concepts with tailored prompts, enabling seamless user-generated content creation within the Mojo app.
Sport and fitness are important verticals of social media video editing. We empowered users to communicate on their activity as sport coaches, gyms and educational content.
Fashion and editorial content was one of the top-performing verticals in our collection of templates. Numerous small businesses, freelance photographers, influencers, and designers were very active in our community.
Typographic animations were very popular among our users as they were easy assets to customize without the need to upload media content.
These templates used cinematographic aesthetics to elevate the user’s content and emphasize the message.
E-commerce businesses sought promoted content. Using both fullscreen media and a product shot mixed with a remove-background feature allowed us to create widgets and cards.
